AusArt Day Morning Tea

AusArt Day Morning Tea

Be a Host. Be a Connector. Be Part of the Circle.

On 23 October 2025, 9:00am–3:00pm, The Living Room Theatre invites you to celebrate AusArt Day with a special Morning Tea with work colleagues or friends

This is more than tea and conversation — it’s an invitation to rally your community around bold, independent theatre. Every cup poured and every story shared helps us build the welcoming foyer — the “dress circle” — of our new home.

Why Host a Morning Tea?

  • Celebrate Australian art on National Day of Giving.
  • Gather friends, colleagues, or your workplace to connect over tea, coffee, and conversation.
  • Contribute to the transformation of 21 Shepherd Street into a home for courageous storytelling.
  • Be part of a nationwide circle of supporters dressing our new venue with warmth and creativity.

How You Can Join

Host: Host your own Morning Tea with friends, family, or co-workers — we’ll provide a digital hosting pack with ideas and resources.
Share: Spread the word and encourage others to host their own Morning Tea.
Support: If you can’t attend or host, consider making a donation to help us dress the circle.

Together, we can set the table for brave work.

Let’s raise a cup to artists, audiences, and the future of LRT.

About AusArt Day

AusArt Day (23 October) is a nationwide celebration of giving through the arts.
It’s a day to:

  • Recognise the impact of the arts in shaping who we are.
  • Support artists and organisations making brave, necessary work.
  • Gather communities to give back in creative and meaningful ways.

By hosting a Morning Tea, you are part of a larger movement across Australia — thousands of people uniting to strengthen the arts and make space for stories that matter.
