Man 40 Seeks Woman with Good Legs was inspired by Tim Winton’s book THE RIDERS.

The New Yorker described the novel as “the curse of this book is that you read it too fast”. Auteur Michelle St Anne reads it with a fine tooth comb to lift the descriptions of who Jennifer is as a woman, a mother, wife and artist. Piecing these together, this work explores the missing female protagonist – giving her voice, space and identity.
