The Living Room Theatre is seeking up to three (3) new members to join our voluntary Board of Directors. As volunteer members of the organisation, Board Directors will have relevant industry skills and expertise. We are seeking talented individuals with an interest in not-for-profit organisations, performing arts and culture. The Living Room Theatre encourages and will prioritise Female applicants.

The following specific key skills and professional experience are being sought:

• Legal qualification and professional experience (not necessarily in an arts context)
• Private giving and fundraising knowledge or experience
• Marketing & branding skills and experience (not necessarily in an arts context)
• Artists are always welcome!

The Living Room Theatre is looking for applicants who understand The Living Room Theatre, its program and history. We are looking for applicants with an interest in:

• Contemporary art practice
• Artist and audience development
• Local community engagement

Successful applicants will support and promote the vision of The Living Room Theatre whilst upholding the constitution of the organisation. These roles are voluntary and the Board of Directors meets at least six times annually. The Board consists of sub-committees in the areas of Finance & Risk, Governance, and Philanthropy. Attendance at The Living Room Theatre’s events and performances is strongly encouraged.
