Monica graduated from Expressive and Performing Arts UNSW, a Diploma in Acting, Dalhousie University, Canada, and ATCL through Trinity College, London. She has worked consistently in varied styles of theatre, film and television for more than 20 years. Monica was the Co-founder of The Living Room Theatre and See-Saw Theatre Company. Monica is currently the Director of The Speech and Drama Studio at MLC where she has taught Speech and Drama, Holiday Workshops, Masterclasses, Productions and Ensemble groups for 16 years. Monica has performed in, developed and facilitated numerous corporate training videos, corporate role-play and professional development. She has trained individuals from corporate organisations in vocal and presentation skills, private Speech coaching to News Readers and Journalists. Monica is also professionally trained clown and ran her own successful children’s entertainment company for 16 years. She has taught clowning and circus workshops for Newtown High School of Performing Arts, MLC School Burwood, Circus Unique, The Studio, conferences and corporate events. Monica has a passion for improvisation and theatre devising and has extensive knowledge and experience in this area, with her theatre, clowning, teaching and acting work.
