The Architectural Backstage Tour saw over 140 people have a enthralling night exploring the sets created by the architectural teams. The scale of the Pier 2/3 space is just wonderful and to see the extraordinary sets ‘live’ and interact within the space is brilliant. On the journey around the Pier, each team spoke about their set creation with Peter Salhani – Editor of Architecture.au and how they responded to the I Love Todd Sampson narrative and Penelope Seidler AM spoke on the intersection architecture and design and theatre performance. In the amazing ‘Spence Room’, Alister Spence wowed the crowd with a beautiful piece from the performance. An incredible night with canapés provided by Blonde Catering and wines by Cake Wines.
